2028 Convention Survey - Need more input ASAP

August COPFAC Meeting Notes - TCFC


We had a long but productive meeting last week and covered the following topics:

  • Performance Incentive Program. We discussed our process for analyzing the participation rates of Unit Franchisees for the current and past performance goals set forth in our contracts. We determined that TCFC needs to pull more detailed information from the sales reporting database and also gather more accurate information on the makeup of those reporting (number of techs, number of units, etc...) in order to have better information to compare our goals for the program to what is actually ocurring month to month. TCFC will have this information compiled and available by the end of 2026.

  • COPFAC Dues payments. We discussed the history of how the COPFAC dues have been collected and increased over the years and identified several issues we will follow up on in the coming months.

  • Technician Certification. We discussed the goals and objectives for establishing technician certification for all services provided. Next steps will be to extend the input on this to the Area Rep Meetings.

  • National Convention Planning. For the 2027 Convention, we reviewed a draft of the initial topics collected by TCFC staff from the prior month's Area Rep and Franchisee meetings. For the 2028 convention, we confirmed our plan to survey the franchise system for their preferences on location for the 40th Anniversary Convention before we proceed with our outside Meeting Planner in identifying the top options for whatever location is selected.
